How Ya Lookin' Southbound? Comein... (CD) *Vintage Collection*
$ 10.00
This limited edition (CD only) EP was released in 2008, prior to the release of the country flavored album, Changing Horses. "How ya lookin' Southbound? Comein..." is trucker speak for "Are there cops heading this way?" and/or "Are there accidents, weather conditions or any other strange anomalies up the road from me?" This all assumes that you are heading Northbound, of course. I know it's a mouthful and It's perfectly ok if you just call it the "Southbound EP". At any route, this is one of my favorites because it has some voice memo/demo tracks from when I still lived in NYC. It is also the first captured sound of The Great Lakes, my backing band for Changing Horses. Featuring Ben "Kitt" Kitterman on pedal steel and dobro, Chris Morrissey on bass, and Mark "Noodle" Stepro on drums. Two of my favorite tracks are the more personal, slightly sad jams at the end - "The Biggest Flower" and "Somehow (Singlemalt Version)". I only have a few of these in stock. xoxoxo. BK
